Eri is an English to Japanese translator and editor and a bilingual narrator. She has lived both in Japan and Canada since her childhood and has had rich multicultural experiences. Due to this background, she majored in English as an undergraduate student, and in graduate school, she specialized social and psychological aspects of linguistics. 

Before becoming a freelancer, she was part of the translation team of an enterprise software company in Canada dealing with clients from various industries. 

She has experiences in translating business documents, websites, marketing collaterals, PowerPoint presentations, press leases, and business correspondences. She also enjoys translating movie subtitles. 

Her hobbies are reading books, learning about world’s new technologies and trends, watching movies, making digital art, making different kinds of tea and coffee, and relaxing with her cat.
